Due to superb business results since the re-opening of the hospitality industry we are looking to grow our business development team further and expand deeper into the county of Dorset.
We are looking for fresh talent to join our team to help us successfully win, service and support our customers whilst growing our business portfolio in this beautiful area in the South Coast.
Our Role -
As a Harvest Business Development Manager (BDM) you are responsible for the retention, category growth and overall area sales turnover & profitability for approximately 100 accounts within a designated territory area. You will be involved in selling to close category gaps, consolidation of suppliers and adding value by providing quality business solutions into established foodservice accounts such as restaurants, hotels, pubs, education and healthcare. Alongside managing this designated territory, you will be building and delivering a new business pipeline for future growth. Our Business Development Managers have great relationships with many buyers including chefs, managers and buying teams. This role enables creative working with a variety of suppliers whilst being consultative in solution selling to customers across foodservice within this local area.

The Person –
You will be a people focussed person and great at building strong customer relationships, your interpersonal skills will be second to none. You will be from a wholesale background ideally operating in the Foodservice Industry around Dorset and have a strong affinity to Food. You will understand the difference between a Bearnaise and a Hollandaise and know your Cep’s from your Oysters! You will be an experienced Sales Person that always over achieves your target.
